Identity Management & The Cloud

Are there too many ways to manage user accounts in the cloud? While it seems like a strange question to ask, the average school runs between four (4) and eleven (11) cloud services.
Individual logins, federated logins, single sign-on tools, LDAP and Active Directory integration, and two-factor authorization and all methods and tools for managing user identities and access to cloud services. While each method and tool has its benefits, they also have limitations. And, to complicate matters, many schools end up mixing and matching methods which can create confusion and security loopholes.
In this month’s K-12 Webcast, Identity Management & The Cloud, we explore the benefits and challenges of methods and tools currently available for user identity management across cloud services and will identify common gaps between traditional user identity management and the solutions for cloud. Joined by JumpCloud, we will explore solutions that address cross-service user identity management as well as security for the local device login, online and offline.
As is our plan, we offer plenty of time for Q&A.
