K-12 Webcast: Effective PD for Google Apps
November 25, 2014, 3:00 PM ET
As more schools migrate to Drive for Education, Google Apps continues to become a key element in teacher-student engagement. And while many educators are comfortable with technology and change, schools often struggle to help teachers learn and utilize Google Apps as a communication and engagement platform for the classroom.
- Traditional on-site professional development is too often limited by the number of participants and limited time
- One-time or periodic sessions are not responsive to what teachers are doing and experiencing in the classroom over the course of the year
- Train the trainer programs struggle to propagate knowledge and adoption of new technologies and methods
In this month’s K-12 Webcast, Effective PD for Google Apps, we will discuss these and other challenges. More importantly, we will present a new strategy for Google Apps training and professional development that provides on-going education, guidance, and support.
As always, we left plenty of time for questions, discussion, and additional topics of interest to you.
